Services

Matcha Minka provides ceremonial-grade matcha cart catering services for corporate events, weddings, brand activations, and private gatherings. Specific services, pricing, staffing, equipment, and deliverables for each event are defined in the individual proposal and signed agreement provided to each client. These Terms apply alongside any event-specific contract; in case of conflict, the signed event agreement takes precedence.

Inquiries and Quotes

Submitting an inquiry through our website does not constitute a booking. All quotes and proposals are estimates based on the information you provide and are subject to change if event details change. A booking is confirmed only when both parties have signed an event agreement and the required deposit has been received.

Bookings, Deposits, and Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and deposit. Specific payment terms, deposit amounts, balance due dates, and accepted payment methods are set forth in your event agreement. Late payments may result in service delays or cancellation.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set forth in your individual event agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable, but specific terms vary based on the event package, date, and circumstances. We will work in good faith to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests subject to availability.

Event Day Responsibilities

Client responsibilities. You are responsible for providing accurate event information, ensuring our team has appropriate access to the venue at the agreed-upon time, securing any required venue permits or approvals, providing access to electrical power and water as specified in your agreement, and communicating any changes to event timing or logistics in advance.

Our responsibilities. We are responsible for arriving on time with the agreed-upon equipment, ingredients, and staffing, providing service consistent with the standards described in your agreement, conducting ourselves professionally and following venue rules, and completing setup and breakdown within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Liability

We carry general liability insurance and food handling certifications appropriate for our services. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for damages caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to venue issues, supplier failures, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government-mandated restrictions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, photographs, design elements, and the "Matcha Minka" name and brand — is the property of Matcha Minka and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Photography and Marketing

We may take photographs and video at events for use in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials. If you prefer that we not use images from your event, please notify us in writing before the event date.

Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use our Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site
• Interfere with the Site's operation
• Scrape or copy content for commercial use without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity

Third-Party Services

Our Site and operations may incorporate third-party services (such as HoneyBook for bookings, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics, and others). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies, which we do not control.

Disclaimers

Our Site and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
